We’re looking for an innovative and collaborative lead software developer to join our fast-growing engineering team. Our cross-functional product team is made up of software engineers, data scientists, product managers, designers, and music composers, all working collaboratively to deliver on our roadmap vision to make a massive dent in the neuroscience industry.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of engineers to define, design, and ship new features
  • Provide mentorship to all members of the engineering team on their personal and career development
  • Actively participate in the ideation and execution of product roadmap
  • Lead the engineering team via agile methodologies to assure we are shipping in a consistent and timely manner
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to deliver value to users and business partners
  • Design elegant architecture that scales to meet the varied needs of customers and enterprise clients
  • Invest about 50% of your time creating great code to help build the next-generation web applications and products
  • Evolve and improve product engineering standards and practices within your teams
  • Ensure that necessary technical documentation is maintained in an appropriate manner
  • Lead the engineering team to hit their technical KPIs around application maintenance, performance, and sprint velocity

 

Your Skillset and Background:

  • Passionate about joining a company with a vision to change the brain performance industry
  • 4+ years of full stack engineering experience in high-quality environments
  • 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams
  • Extensive experience with JavaScript, specifically Node.js, React, and React-Native.
  • Background of working with consumer app
  • Experience leading an Agile environment (e.g. Scrum, Kanban).
  • Proven execution delivering on performance targets and key operational metrics.
  • Attention to detail, thoroughness and urgency to consistently set and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Documents their work clearly for other devs to share knowledge and help improve team processes
