About Wisear

Wisear develops a solution that allows audio manufacturers to transform their true wireless earphones into brain recording devices.

 

Our Story:

Wisear is a young DeepTech start-up. Over our first two years of existence we secured a first deal with a large device maker, developed the first neuronal activity detection algorithms that can sit in any earphones and secured fundings to grow the team.
We’ve now reached a point where we can start selling our tech and we need to scale our business development team to do so.

 

Our Vision

Today we are able to record brain electrical activity – called electroencephalogram or EEG – using electrodes placed on the scalp. The extent of the potential use cases is massive (medical diagnosis, brain performance enhancement, relaxation coaching, etc.). But the size and looks of current devices prevents their usage by the public on a daily basis, as would be necessary to unlock the most promising use cases.

Wisear builds the first ear-EEG data processing solution for earphones manufacturers, along with accompanying them to turn their earphones into brain recording devices. The first use cases we cover allow people to control their devices using their brain and facial muscle activity. We are convinced that in the near future, ear-EEG will be a key technology for early diagnosis and treatment monitoring of brain pathologies (e.g. epilepsy, ADHD, depression, Parkinson’s, etc.).

 

Job description

You will join the team to work with the CEO & explore new markets where our technology could be applied & develop our sales pipeline in these markets.

  • You will be in charge of:
    • Analyse and finding new business opportunities for Wisear’s technology through extensive market research
    • Define the most relevant companies to reach out in these markets
    • Find the right leads of the target companies
    • Define the most efficient outbound strategy to access these prospects and get to the first meeting quickly
    • Navigate the organization and design a clear mapping for your prospects: gather the right people (C-Level or Head of Product and Engineering) around the table to move deals forward
    • Close the deals! Always!
    • Report all the information collected clearly in our CRM
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the sales playbook and team’s processes.

 

Requirements:

  • You have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, we’re looking for someone that has a strong sense of product and can quickly grasp her interlocutor needs to adapt her sales pitch accordingly. Wisear is a Deeptech company that sells complex products. A taste for challenge and tech is a must have.
  • You are exceptionally persistent. One of the key elements to a successful deal is the ability to never give up from the first contact to the deal closing.
  • You are a careful listener. You are able to understand your interlocutor point of view & adapt your speech accordingly.
  • You are able to plan as well as you execute. Devil’s in the details (keeping a clean CRM, organizing meetings, managing pipelines etc.).
  • You excel in cold prospecting (setting up a sequence, phone, LinkedIn, email, physical)
  • You have a strong understanding of how B2B Sales work, specifically Enterprise ones
  • You achieve Full Professional Proficiency in English
  • Nice to Have:
    • 2+ years of experience in Business Development for early stage start-up (Pre-Revenue) or past entrepreneurial experience
    • You’ve already been working with large Electronic device makers (eg: Samsung, Bose, Jabra etc…) or selling to them
    • You’ve already been selling product with a licensing business model

 

Recruitment Process:

You will have 3 interviews:
  • One interview with the CEO to assess your Business Development skills & Fit with the company
  • One interview with one of our advisors who excels at selling products with a licensing Business Model to dig deeper into your Sales skills
  • One interview the CTO to assess your analytical skills

 

Considering that the company is at a rather early stage, each team member is very likely to have a strong impact on the project. We are looking for a teammate who shares our genuine curiosity and strong interest for this marvelous topic that is understanding the brain!
