JUNIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER/INTERN (NEUROTECHNOLOGIES)

Job Summary (0.4 – 0.1 FTE):

Key to our approach is using advanced Machine Learning techniques to analyse the produced EEG data. We are looking for a junior software engineer/intern to join our team to develop and implement these applications.

Responsibilities and Duties:

You will be working as part of our tech team to develop novel EEG based NeuroTech applications. As such you may be asked to work on different parts of the system, ranging from low-level code directly interacting with hardware to ensure stimuli are presented correctly and precisely aligned to the measured EEG data, to middle-ware connecting the raw data to the analysis platform, to advanced AI algorithms processing the data (in real-time).

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor or Masters degree in numeric discipline, such as computer-science, physics, engineering
• Ability to join team during the week at Company offices in Ede, Netherlands
• Good knowledge of Python
• Experience in signal processing and machine-learning
• Experience in basic neuroscience is a bonus
• Experience in EEG processing is a bonus
• Experience using git and git-hub for version management
• English language required, Dutch language preferred
• Willingness to work on different aspects of the system design
