Our first product, Aim Lab, is a personalized training platform that helps gamers learn about their strengths and weaknesses and train for the game they love. Aim Lab has over 20 million players around the world and is available for free on Steam and even on Roblox. Aim Lab also has official partnerships with some of the biggest publishers, including Riot, Ubisoft, and Activision Blizzard.

The Head of Recruiting Role

Statespace is rapidly growing and it is time to expand our recruiting team! As the Head of Recruiting, you will be joining an existing team of recruiters. You will take on managing everything that is recruiting while collaborating and aligning with the direction of the company. This role will ensure we have a strong recruitment process as we build the best team across all departments. You will manage the existing recruiters, hire new recruiters, increase candidate sourcing efforts and increase the quantity of hires. You will strategize to ensure we are attracting diverse and qualified candidates. The Head of Recruiting will create targets and be responsible for working towards hitting those goals.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own full life-cycle of recruiting
  • Manage and coach our distributed team of recruiters
  • Regularly manage activity in our ATS (Lever) and distribute reporting
  • Drive new recruitment efforts
  • Manage and improve current recruiting operations
  • Assist in evaluating candidates to present to hiring managers and leadership
  • Participate in sourcing, phone screens, and interviews
  • Create and analyze KPIs for the recruiting team
  • Develop creative ways to engage and attract global top talent
  • Stay up to date on current talent trends
  • Maintain a positive candidate experience
  • Strategize to develop diverse and successful hiring plans

 

Ideal Skills

  • 4+ years in recruiting and managing a team of recruiters
  • Gaming industry experience is preferred
  • Strong background in technical recruiting
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with hiring managers throughout departments
  • A successful track record of executing global talent strategies
  • Strong knowledge of current sourcing techniques
  • Results driven, action oriented, and organized
  • Ability to manage ambiguity well
  • Self motivated and collaborative
  • Ability to set KPIs, priorities, and commitments in a rapidly growing startup
