Job Summary (0.8 – 1.0 FTE):
Key to our approach is using advanced Machine Learning techniques to analyse the produced EEG data. We are looking for a Research Engineer to take ownership of one of these applications and develop it into a successful prototype — and eventually a successful product.
Responsibilities and Duties:
You will be working as part of our tech team to develop novel EEG based NeuroTech applications. You will be responsible for taking one of these applications and delivering a successful prototype for our clients. As a small (but growing) startup you will be;
- Managing the prototype (and product) development, including; hardware, software, experiment design, performance validation, results presentation
- Defining tasks for other team members to deliver
As we are a small team, you will be doing many of these tasks yourself — so this is an excellent opportunity to get experience in all aspects of neuro-tech product development.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Masters Degree (PhD preferred) in numeric discipline — such as Neuroscience, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering
- Ability to join team during the week at Company offices in Ede, Netherlands
- 3yr work experience, with some as team leader
- Good knowledge of Python
- Experience in signal processing and machine-learning
- Experience in basic neuroscience and/or EEG analysis is a bonus
- Willingness to work on different aspects of the system design
- Good organizational and people management skills
- English language required, Dutch language preferred
