Senior Clinical Operations Manager

We’re looking for an experienced, driven Senior Clinical Operations Manager to build out and lead our clinical trial capabilities in Digital Health. Our vision for Digital Health at Statespace is to join cutting edge neuroscience and game design to maximize impact, engagement, and accessibility for modern digital health and wellness needs. Building on our core expertise and success in developing products for esports assessment and training, we are looking to disrupt the digital health and therapeutics industries with our unique perspective on engaging and effective products. Longer term, we envision a portfolio of products intersecting gaming and neuroscience to assess and monitor brain and body function (perception, cognition, and control of movement), to detect brain dysfunction, and for direct therapeutic intervention. This is an opportunity to have a massive impact on the company direction and the health and wellness of many people.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of clinical and scientific studies in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Manage strategic partnerships, CROs, and other 3rd party vendors to meet Statespace’s scientific study goals.
• Build out the necessary systems, knowledge, and internal standards to conduct clinical trials internally in addition to external partners.
• Collaborate with other key team members to build out the capabilities and partnerships to conduct virtual and remote trials.
• Work with Science and Data Science leads to design, plan, and coordinate studies in line with business goals.
• Manage all supplies, processes, and people for efficient and on-time execution of study milestones.
• Build and manage a team of clinical operations personnel.

Ideal Skills/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years in clinical operations for digital health, medical device, biotechnology, or similar field.
• 2+ years direct management experience.
• Clinical strategy from 0 → 1. Experience in early phase, pre-commercial clinical studies and scientific investigation.
• Knowledge in global regulatory and compliance requirements for clinical research.
• Accomplished communication skills, both written and verbal, and a high degree of technological literacy.
• Experience with HIPAA, IRB submissions, and Good Clinical Practices.
• Doesn’t keep to the status-quo. Has experience pushing the boundaries in conducting virtual and remote clinical trials with modern technologies and partners.
• Track record of consistently delivering measurable results, impacting the companies you work for. Collaborate with others to make things happen. Bring order to chaos and complexity.

The location of this role is US-Remote
