Technical Program Manager, Neuromotor Interfaces Research, FRL
Oculus · New York, NY · Full time
At Facebook Reality Labs (FRL), our goal is to explore, innovate, and design novel interfaces and hardware subsystems for the next generation of virtual, augmented, and mixed reality experiences. We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to support peripheral neural interface research and development that lies at the intersection of computational neuroscience, machine learning, signal processing, statistics, biophysics, and human-computer interaction. We seek people who want to shape the future of this technology and are excited about joining our neuromotor research team, whose mission is to create the future of input and interaction for AR and VR.
The Technical Program Manager will work with a team of talented research scientists and engineers to develop, implement, and track an applied neuromotor interface research roadmap. The ideal candidate will possess experience in relevant technical domains of neuroscience or engineering, a strong technical program management or product management background, and experience working with multi-disciplinary research teams. We seek candidates who are self-motivated and able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment with ambiguity and competing priorities. Candidates should be able to manage research programs, develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, and roll up their sleeves, dig in, and get the job done.
