The postdoctoral research associate will primarily contribute to the #EEGManyPipelines project. This m scientific project aims to assess the robustness and replicability of EEG analyses and their results. In ot words, we want to find out to what extent analyses of the same EEG dataset using alternative anal procedures yield the same result and which analysis steps are responsible for the most variability. To end, we will conduct a “many analysts” study, in which we will provide a representative EEG dataset invite a large sample of EEG researchers to analyse the data with a processing pipeline of their choice. own analysis will assess the diversity of analysis pipelines in the EEG community and their impact on results. Based on these findings, we aim to derive recommendations and guidelines for EEG analyses publications. #EEGManyPipelines is part of the DFG priority program “META-REP: A Meta-scien Programme to Analyse and Optimise Replicability in the Behavioural, Social, and Cognitive Scienc Further information about our project can be found here: https://www.eegmanypipelines.org/

Furthermore, we offer the opportunity to participate in other ongoing research projects in the lab, mo in the areas of visual cognition and psychophysics, visual short-term and long-term memory and neur oscillations. Further information about the lab’s research, publications and members can be found h https://www.uni-muenster.de/PsyIFP/AEBusch/index.html
