26 Nov Postdoctoral Researcher Position in Beijing, Neuroimaging & Computational Psychiatry
Postdoctoral researcher position
Peking University – School of Psychological and Cognitive Sciences
The Depression and Anxiety Computational Neuroscience lab, directed by Yujia Peng, at Peking University in Beijing invites applications for a postdoctoral position. Candidates should be broadly interested in applying computational and neuroimaging methods to questions with relevance to clinical psychology, especially focusing on depression and anxiety. Our works aim to use multidimensional data from behavioral, physiological, neuroimaging, and symptom perspectives to advance our understanding of the psychological and neuroimaging mechanisms behind mood and anxiety disorders. There will be ample opportunity, depending on the postdoc’s level of interest, to lead individual projects and engage in a range of ongoing projects.
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. or anticipate a Ph.D. by the summer of 2022. The preferred start range for the position is summer or early fall of 2022. Favorable consideration will be given to applicants with a strong record of research productivity and with experience or substantial interest in neuroimaging data analysis (MRI, MEG, and EEG), computational modeling, and machine learning. The position will last for a minimum of two years, coming with generous benefits and ample technical and logistical support.
Interested candidates should send a CV and a letter of application describing research interests and professional goals to Yuxi Wang (yuxi.wang at pku.edu.cn) by Dec 31st, 2021.
Informal inquiries can be sent to the principal investigator, Yujia Peng (yujia_peng at pku.edu.cn).
