Artiria Medical SA is a start-up company active in the field of neurovascular technology. Artiria’s objective is to establish a new standard of care to fight stroke and save lives. 15 million people suffer a stroke every year. This brain pathology often leads to severe disabilities and death. Artiria develops cutting-edge medical devices using the patient’s arteries as an access route to smoothly reach the brain and locally deliver life-saving treatments.
Artiria Medical is looking for a talented R&D Intern to contribute to the development of the company’s products. The intern may work on different parts of the product depending on their profile.
Key Tasks And Responsibilities
- Design and optimize key components of an endovascular device.
- Establish testing protocols.
- Perform the characterization tests and write the related reports.
- Plan, organize, and manage your project tasks (under the supervision of a senior R&D team member).
- Actively support and collaborate with the rest of the RnD team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microengineering / Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering (EPFL, HES, or equivalent).
- For mechanical engineering profiles:
- Strong skills in mechanical design
- Skills in CAD (Solidworks or equivalent)
- Skills in data analysis (Python)
- For microengineering or electrical engineering profiles:
- Good knowledge of embedded systems
- Skills in C/C++
- Skills in data analysis (Python)
- Affinity for hands-on experimental work.
- Strong commitment and drive to work in a startup environment.
- Willingness to take on new technical challenges.
- Language: English, written and spoken, French a plus.
