Neuralink is developing ultra-high bandwidth brain-machine interfaces to connect humans and computers. We are building a team of multidisciplinary experts passionate about making a world-changing impact.

As a Mechanical Reliability & Test Engineer working on our implant team, you will be responsible for designing and developing test infrastructure to reduce hardware development and manufacturing time, increase reliability, and drive improvements of the Neuralink implant, charger, and accessories. Our test engineers design and build scalable test equipment, run simulations and analyses, plan and conduct experiments, and develop test methodology and criteria.

Key qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent in experience and ability.
  • 4+ years of mechanical engineering experience.
  • 2+ year of industry mechanical engineering experience.
  • Strong understanding of engineering first principles.
  • Technical and experimental documentation experience, including writing experimental procedures and lab reports.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with python and writing test scripts.
  • Experience designing hardware test systems from the ground up.
  • Experience performing finite element analysis (FEA).
  • Experience in a lab environment.
