We are looking for an awesome Program Manager to join our team and lead the project management of a strategically important program in AI for medical imaging at Huma. 

By joining the Delivery & Operations team in this role, you will manage a challenging and novel program of work, liaise closely with external stakeholders and ensure successful client relationships, and support our AI researchers to build groundbreaking personalised medicine.

 

Your mission

  • Build relationships and lead negotiations with healthcare, academic, and industry partners to source the required materials, datasets, and expertise for one or more imaging AI projects
  • Proactively lead engagement with internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery, facilitate Huma/client communications, and ensure project risks are evaluated, documented and mitigated where possible
  • Work cross-functionally to deliver internal programs focused on business process improvement
  • Create detailed project plans with clear milestones and deliverables, coordinating across internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure project status is easy to access via agreed tools and regular reporting to the key stakeholders is in place
  • Recognize process improvements and work collaboratively to assess, propose, and implement solutions 
  • Develop templates and other tools to improve operational efficiency for internal and external stakeholders
  • Thrive in a fast-paced and variable environment, willing to take on new and cross-functional projects to support the business as a whole

 

From day one in this role we’ll expect you to have

  • A minimum of 3+ years experience in a related, client-facing role
  • Academic or industry experience related to medical imaging 
  • Extensive experience in project or program management
  • Proven experience working in a tech-related business, interacting with commercial, operations, compliance, regulatory and other teams
  • Strong working knowledge of project management software tools, e.g. Asana or other digital PM tools
  • Strong interest and passion for digital health
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment and deal with ambiguity
  • Excellent written & spoken English language skills

 

It’s great, but not required, if you have

  • Previous experience in digital health
  • Prior knowledge or experience related to machine learning for medical imaging, although this is not a tech role
  • A strong understanding of regulatory and compliance for software medical devices
