Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of infant development from literature, cutting edge research and best practices that are applied in industry and academia
- Own internal validation projects from start to finish, including recruiting and training annotators, collecting feedback on how to make the annotation tool more effectively and developing guidelines to ensure annotation follows best practices.
- Present Babbly’s clinical outcomes in conferences, industry talks, expert panels, etc.
- Liaise between Babbly’s product and business team and academic research teams to ensure business priorities and clinical outcomes are aligned
- Support Babbly’s product team by bringing the voice of the clinician into the various touchpoints of Babbly’s care model.
Background & Qualifications:
- Experience as a clinician in Speech-Language Pathology, Behavior science, developmental psychology or pediatrics with a focus on infant population
- PHD from an accredited University in developmental psychology, speech-language pathology, or related fields
- Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and building thought leadership in previous roles
- Knowledge of the tele-health industry is an asset – both from regulatory/policy point of view, as well as, the latest results from clinical studies
- Experience working at an early stage startup or a scale up is an asset
