About Synchron
Synchron is developing a platform of brain interface technology that transmits data in and out of the brain via devices implanted inside cerebral blood vessels using minimally invasive endovascular procedures (Neuro-Intervention).
As a leader in brain-to-machine communication, Synchron is poised to create a significant impact in its industry and to meaningfully impact many peoples’ lives. Whilst the company’s technology is maturing fast (4 clinical trial participants have already benefited from the first-generation device), there is an opportunity to help shape the company’s direction and to work in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary and growing team.
We are a lean, fast-paced, passionate team pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the neurotech space to dramatically improve the quality of life of millions of people globally, and we want you to join us.

As a leader in brain-to-machine communication, Synchron is poised to create a significant impact in its industry and to meaningfully impact many peoples’ lives. Whilst the company’s technology is maturing quickly (four clinical trial participants have already benefited from the first brain computer interface device), there is an opportunity to help shape the company’s direction and to work in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary and growing team. As our flagship technology matures, we are looking to expand applicability of our technology to new domains.
We are expanding our engineering team and currently seeking to appoint an Electronics Engineer for the Advanced Technologies division in our Melbourne facility.
Role: Electronics Engineer, Advanced Technology Team
Our Advanced Technology team is exploring the unknowns of what whole brain bi-directional data transfer can unlock. Applications of our technology are boundless, and we are currently investigating a foundational set of treatments for a variety of neurological conditions.
As an Electronics Engineer, you will be contributing experience, creativity, and insight into the development of novel, ground up technologies. We are growing our team rapidly and this is an opportunity to shape state-of-the-art medical devices for the future.
The Advanced Technology team is building the future of brain computer interfaces. We are a lean, fast-paced, passionate team pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the neurotech space to dramatically improve the quality of life of millions of people globally, and we want you to join us.
