Product Manager – Neuroprosthesis

Synchron is developing products that convert raw neural signals into impactful, easy-to-use experiences.

We are looking to hire a Product Manager to focus on our neuroprosthetic product suite. You will be responsible for setting our product vision and leading the design and development of our products. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify user needs and product requirements, develop roadmaps, and deliver best-in-class medical device experiences to our diverse user base.

Responsibilities

  • High level: Partner with Product, Design, Research, Engineering, and Marketing teams to launch bleeding edge Brain Computer Interface (BCI) products
  • Partner with leadership to set the long term vision of the neuroprosthesis platform in relation to our full product suite
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify user needs and hardware/software product requirements, develop product roadmaps and milestones through design, clinical trials, and launch 
  • Establish and track standardized product metrics for each phase of development
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis from multiple sources (user research, need finding, market research, Human Factors Engineering (HFE))
  • Support regulatory and reimbursement needs from a product perspective 

 

Minimal Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction or related field
  • 5+ years in a product role at a start-up, tech company, or medical device company managing hardware & software products
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and deliver on complex projects with aggressive timelines
  • Proven track record of clear, concise communication (verbal, written, presentation) with collaborators and company leadership
  • Proactive, motivated, efficient individual with demonstrated interest in the BCI/neural interface space

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s or PhD in related field 
  • Experience working with and/or designing for patients with disabilities and caregivers
  • Experience delivering novel technologies to market
  • Experience with Class II or Class III medical devices
