POSITION OVERVIEW

Blackrock is seeking an ASIC Engineer who will work on a team designing advanced ASICs to revolutionize the Neuroscience field.

Key Qualifications

• Requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, preferably an MS/PhD
• Experience with designing analog parts for mixed signal ASICs
• Proficient in Verilog/VHDL
• Experience with ASIC Simulation

Specific Skills/Competencies Desired

• Experience in a regulated software environment (e.g., Medical Devices)
• Experience with GNU Programming
• Strong Organizational skills
• Strong English language, reading, writing, comprehension, and editing skills.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Can handle stressful situations
• Strong people skills
• Familiarity with Linux
• Familiarity with Candence Virtuoso L/XL
• Familiarity with Candence Spectra X/ AMS
• Familiarity with Candence Assura
• Familiarity with Candence Layout XL
• Familiarity with Candence Innouus
• Familiarity with Matlab
• Familiarity with Candence Quanrus
• Must be the thorough and detail oriented
• Must have excellent problem-solving skills
• Must have excellent reading comprehension

Essential Job Duties

• Develop new products from concepts through released product stages
• Develop test Protocols and write test reports
