POSITION OVERVIEW

Key Qualifications

• Requires a B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree
• Requires 2+ years in developing/maintaining automated testing software
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Familiarity with design control processes and quality management systems
• Familiarity with real-time systems and software
• Familiarity with hardware testing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong English language reading, writing, comprehension, and editing skills
• Can handle stressful situations
• Strong interpersonal skills

Specific Skills/Competencies Desired

• Familiarity with Git
• Familiarity with Linux and Microsoft programming
• Familiarity with Visual Studio
• Front-end application development
• Back-end application development

Essential Job Duties

• Develop software and firmware through Blackrock’s design phases
• Developing and maintaining automated testing software for the R&D and Manufacturing departments to improve department efficiency
• Working with the R&D, Innovations, Sales, and Support departments to improve existing software utilities
• Develop test protocols, perform testing, and write test reports
