POSITION OVERVIEW

Key Qualifications

• B.S./M.S. degree, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with manufacturing and quality assurance procedures
• Proficiency with Solid works
• Clean room safety procedures
• Operating in a clean room environment
• Processing polymers, epoxies, and silicones
• Process control and data analysis
• Metallization deposition techniques
• Dry and wet silicon etching techniques
• Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent organizing skills to lead team for projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary groups of technology innovators and engineers

Specific Skills/Competencies Desired

• Hands-on experience in the design, fabrication, optimization, and operation of Micro-Electro-Mechanical-System (MEMS) is highly desirable
• Knowledge of FDA/ISO for medical devices
• Ability to put project plans together which would include deadlines, manpower and budget details
• Characterization of micro fabrication processes (SEM, profilometry, etc.)
• Experience with photolithography processes including thin film deposition techniques (for metal, dielectrics, and photoresist) and photo mask design

Essential Job Duties

• Design and Fabrication of Micro Devices

• • Coordinate efforts between the company and consultants or vendors
  • Support in Solid works
  • Write technical reports and specifications for processes
  • Work on the project milestones and deliverables
  • Work on preliminary proof of concept ideas and execute experiments to generate feasibility results

• Process Characterization and Optimization

• • Develop test protocols and reports
  • Develop manufacturing documents
  • Run the design control processes
