POSITION OVERVIEW

Key Qualifications

• Requires a M.S. in Electrical Engineering, preferably a PhD
• Experience with designing analog parts for mixed signal ASICs
• Proficient in Verilog/VHDL
• Experience with ASIC Simulation
• Experience with MEMS processes, VLSI, and micro-device development and manufacturing is essential
• Knowledge with design of experiments (DOE) and statistical process control (SPC) is necessary
• Fluent in C/C++
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong English language reading, writing, comprehension, and editing skills
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Can handle stressful situations
• Strong people skills

Specific Skills/Competencies Desired

• Prior experience working with chip foundries
• Prior experience with taping out chips
• Background in electrophysiology and/or neuroscience

Essential Job Duties

• Design, simulation, and testing of next-generation mixed signal ASICs
• Coordinating efforts between the company and consultants or vendors
• Troubleshooting and problem solving
