POSITION OVERVIEW

Key Qualifications

• Requires a B.S. in Computer Science or 4 years equivalent experience
• Strong English language reading, writing, comprehension, and editing skills
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Fluent in C/C++
• Familiarity with source control systems
• Familiarity with Windows programming
• Familiarity with Linux programming
• Familiarity with Real-time systems
• Strong interpersonal skills

Specific Skills/Competencies Desired

• Experience in a regulated software environment (e.g. medical devices)
• Familiarity with graphics programming
• Experience with GNU programming tools
• Experience with MSVC programming tools
• Familiarity with MFC
• Familiarity with Cross Platform Code Development

Essential Job Duties

• Produce software used as product on time on and on schedule
• Write and review design specifications
• Organize, estimate, and plan software development tasks
• Document changes made to software
• Contribute to the overall software architecture
• Performs other assignments as required by management
