Tasks
Mission for the Neurotech Lead
Supervising the development of the algorithm of emotions extraction. Bringing neurotechnological expertise to the full pipeline from data acquisition and data cleaning to deep learning for emotions extraction. Taking part in the decision making around the architecture of the solutions and in the decision making of the company’s strategy.
Outcomes
- 200 hours of high quality clean training data by the end of 2022 (Q1-Q4)
- Take part in hardware related decisions
- Staying up to date in Neuroscience by visiting conferences and analyzing publications
- Data cleaning automation (Q1-Q2)
- Automatic detection of electrodes signal quality
- Pipeline for data filtering
- Automatic outlier detection
- Feature extraction (Q2)
- Analysing and testing different ML models to achieve 1s temporal resolution and high accuracy in emotion recognition (Q2-Q3)
- Build and manage a team of 1-3 developers (Q3, Q4)
Requirements
- Outstanding M.Sc. or PhD in a neurotechnology related field.
- Research experience in neurotechnology: collecting, cleaning and interpreting EEG data
- Experience in a high-performance environment and the ability to excel under pressure
- Experience with data processing techniques: Wavelet Transform, frequency filtering,
Independent Component Analysis
- Strong knowledge of the Python Data stack: numpy, pandas, matplotlib, scikit-learn, tensorflow (or pytorch)
- Knowledge of Git
