Profile
We are seeking a highly talented and motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our Product Development team. The candidate must be flexible to work in a highly dynamic environment to adapt to fast changes in requirements and be interested in developing neurotech applications, with a minimum of 2 years experience required.
The position is initially focused on the interaction with the user (GUIs, control logic), but development projects will also require a tight collaboration with the acquisition and processing of neural and physiological signals.
What we are looking for:
- Professional with +2 years of experience in C++
- Experience in GUI or in developing data acquisition applications
- Familiar with version control software
Bonus points if:
- Qt, Matlab
- Python
- Experienced in developing large software platforms
- Fluent in English
Main responsibilities:
In the medium term, the candidate is expected to design and develop:
- Applications for the design and execution of neurotechnology studies.
- Applications for real-time analysis, data analytics, and data visualization.
- Software platform to acquire and synchronize signals in real-time.
Short term tasks:
- Design and develop novel and innovative applications based on physiological signals
- Improve the usability of GUI applications and adapt to clients’ feedback.
- Integrate new technologies and processing algorithms.
- Maintenance of the current software components, e.g., update drivers, software libraries, etc.
- Deployment, setup, and testing.
