Profile

We are seeking a highly talented and motivated Data Scientist to join our R&D team. The candidate must be willing to work in a highly dynamic environment and to adapt to fast changes in requirements.  Candidates will have interest in applying the latest advances in machine learning and deep nets to multi-modal data, combining physiological (EEG, ECG, EMG) with behavioral data (IMUs, IoT sensors).  A minimum of 2 years experience is required.

The new team member will become part of the Data Science department and help craft the next generation of algorithms that decode and exploit this multi-modal data in neuro-rehabilitation settings in order to diagnose and treat different conditions such as sleep disorders, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease & stroke.

 

What we are looking for:

  • +2 years of experience working in ML/DL related problems (preferably with time series data). Junior candidates with an excellent background will also be considered.
  • Excellent Python programming skills.
  • Familiar with version control software.
  • Fluent in English, good communication and reporting skills.

 

Bonus points if:

  • Experienced with ML/DL developing frameworks
  • Experienced with physiological data or time-series data
  • Experienced with Docker
  • Experienced with Matlab

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and evaluate ML algorithms to decode EEG and multimodal brain/body biosignals
  • Design algorithms to optimize closed-loop treatments and interventions based on physiological signals
  • Manage the dataset universe at Bitbrain
  • Closely follow new developments in the field and report our own results in technical forums.
