Senior Project Manager (Ref.007) – Zaragoza, Spain

Profile

We are seeking a highly talented and motivated Senior Project Manager to join our R&D team. The candidate must be willing to work in a highly dynamic environment within a large ecosystem of public/private R&D neurotechnology and applied neuroscience projects.  A minimum of 5 years experience is required.

The candidate will be responsible to discover funding opportunities and to assist the R&D department in the public/private project proposal (Horizon Europe, Eureka-Eurostars, Spanish and other EU governments, etc). Also, he/she will be involved in the management of the projects, supervising execution and deadlines, handling the relationships with public/private financial bodies, and linking R&D with Administration/Finance departments to manage budgets/justifications.

What we are looking for:

• +5 years of experience working in R&D projects, with an engineering background (biomedical engineering, neural engineering, etc.) Other backgrounds with demonstrable experience are welcomed.
• Successful experience/participation in EU project proposals and their implementation.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, good communication and reporting skills.

Bonus points if:

• Knowledge of tools for project management, reporting, milestone control, budgeting, and justification.

Main responsibilities:

• Seek funding opportunities for neurotechnology and applied neuroscience projects.
• Preparation of large public/private project proposals and contracts.
• Support in the management of the execution projects and reporting to funding agencies.
• Link with the R&D, Administration, and Finance departments for contracts, budgets, reporting, etc.
• Public relations and networking with funding bodies.
• Reporting directly to the Head of Neuroscience and Head of Engineering departments.
