Industry Internship Hardware & Electronics

IDUN Technologies Ltd. is a swiss based ETH-Spinoff founded in November 2017. At IDUN, our vision is to usher in the next evolution of the Internet of Things (IoT), evolving it into the Internet of Humans: in which our bodies drive, actively and passively, our experience through actionable data about ourselves collected by wearable devices. We have a holistic understanding of all aspects in the pipeline between the body and the IoT experience. The Opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a wide skill set and an interest in electrical and mechanical engineering. You should be able to work proactively and independently and be willing to take responsibility for your own project. In return we provide a highly relevant and applied research topic embedded in a dynamic, knowledgeable, and exciting start up environment. The duration of the internship must be at least 6 months.

Your background

You have experience with electronics, microcontrollers, programming, and are not afraid to use a drill press or a table saw. Experience with biopotential measurements and brain-computer interfaces is a plus.

• BSc / MSc in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar (can be ongoing)
• Experience with electronics, microcontrollers and programming is necessary
• Ideally previous experience with EEG and/or BCIs

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)

• Development of internal machinery and rapid prototyping of electronics, device enclosures, etc.
• Unsupervised planning and conducting of experiments, presentation of results
• Internal prototype production
• Support our Hardware & Electronics team when needed
