Our team is seeking an experienced, highly technical EPM to drive cross-functional research, user studies, application and algorithm development supporting an advanced neuroscience organization.

This role will include frequent multi-disciplinary collaboration with teams like Neuroscience, UI/UX, Computer Vision/Machine Learning, Product Design, Health, System Engineering, and more to define software features, and validation plans that map from top level features down to application, algorithm, research study and experimentation specifications. Candidates will have a solid programming and research background making contributions to programs through a combination of experimental and computational approaches. Does this sound like you? Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of combined experience in software engineering program management, research study development and execution with a consistent track record leading and shipping multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Experience leading full life-cycle program development in highly dynamic and ambiguous work environments, with a keen eye for user experience.
• Familiarity with various programming language syntax and software program management techniques
• Experience managing projects that require in-person research sessions
• Prior experience with design of human studies for technology evaluation is highly desirable
• Hardware and software experience with multimodal data acquisition, instrumentation, and human-machine interfaces is a plus
• Ability to create and execute plans in ambiguous settings
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and cross-functional engagement skills are critical
• Excellent problem solving and creative thinking

Description

As a Neuroscience cross-functional EPM, you will partner with the Neuroscience research, Application and Machine Learning software teams to define product specifications, create validation plans, and drive cross functional reviews with peers and executive teams

You will be responsible for:

• Assisting in the development of research questions around perceptual and cognitive comfort and study protocol.
• Working cross-functionally with other team members to translate user-study data into transformative prototypes and demonstrations
• Leading efforts across teams representing multiple layers of the software stack as well as other cross-functional partners in areas such as human interface design, hardware, firmware, and other organizations within and outside of Apple
• Presenting your findings to cross-functional partners and stakeholders
• Mapping end-to-end applications to test and validation requirements
• Create and maintaining streamlined development schedules by redirecting pitfalls and developing an improved course of action
• Offering multiple levels of status updates across a wide spectrum of individual contributors to executive management

Education & Experience

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Human Computer Interaction OR equivalent degree/experience
