AAVAA Neuroscience Intern

We are looking for part-time Neuroscience Interns who would like to put their theoretical knowledge to the test in a dynamic start-up environment as early as October 2021.

AAVAA is a Montréal-based start-up that is building a listening device that selectively hears what you desire to hear without any cumbersome assumptions. Our solution capitalizes on the novelty of Brain and Biosignal Synthesis,the robustness of Acoustics, and the strength of Artificial Intelligence. We are looking for:

A part-time intern who will assist with various research and development activities, including:

• Recruiting and testing participants
• Assisting in the preparation of experimental set-ups
• Conducting literature reviews
• Analyzing and reporting scientific findings

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master Degree in Neuroscience, Psychology, or related fields
• Excellent communication & writing skills (English)
• Creativity, the ability to work independently
• Motivated, excited to learn, ability to work autonomously in a dynamic team

Preferred

• Experience with programming languages (Matlab, Python, etc.) and statistical software (R, SPSS, etc.)
• Experience writing project and grant proposals
