AppliedVR is looking for a mission-driven Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager to support and develop a complete QA program that not only safeguards the quality of our product but also fosters a “culture of quality”. This position will report to the Director of QA/RA and work closely with our Operations and Product team stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure processes needed for the quality management system are established, implemented and maintained
  • Ensure integration of quality system requirements into product design and development activities through the product lifecycle with particular focus on risk management, verification/validation and manufacturing controls
  • Manage CAPA process to ensure on-time completion of required activities
  • Evaluate, audit, appprove, and monitor product and service suppliers.
  • Establish quality inspection prcedures and statistical sampling plans.
  • The Manager will be expected to visit the manufacturing facility at least three times a week to inspect equipment, materials, finished goods and processes.

 

Qualifications:

  • BS Engineering or life sciences a strong plus or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of medical product experience
  • Software quality management experience is a plus
  • Digital Health industry experience is an asset
  • Proficiency required with application of statistical techniques for manufacturing and quality systems
  • Good organizational, oral and written communication skills, including the ability to represent the company to both internal and external audiences
