Software developer (Senior)

Artinis is hiring a Software Developer (Senior) who is enthusiastic and driven for innovative biomedical applications. As a software developer, you will create new applications for the research and the medical field, transform software and UX design into working software and test your code in accordance with project requirements and feature specifications. You will work in a young, dynamic, and agile environment, think about optimal solutions in terms of efficiency and elegance. You will be joining the software development team of the research and development group and strongly collaborate with other disciplines such as electrical and embedded engineering, biomedical engineering, and our product and graphic design team.

Requirements

• You are responsible for designing and coding our research and medical software
• You work with cutting edge technology in the research and medical field, using noninvasive blood oxygenation measurement devices
• Contribute to the feature implementation, software architecture, code optimization, design descriptions
• Test your code and code of others by writing unit and integration tests, allowing for CI/CD
• Functionally test your application and implemented fixes and features hands-on
• Translate feature requests and issue tickets into a software design and production-ready code
• Bridge the gap between design, technology and the user experience
• Independently working within different multidisciplinary project teams being responsible for the translation of user expectations and a well written and optimized code base
• Design on requests of our electronics engineers and end-users, expand your knowledge embedded, research and medical technology.

Qualifications

• You have a background as Software Engineer or a similar with 5+ years of experience
• You possess the ability to think problem-solution-oriented
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
• You are enthusiastic, flexible and can function properly in a small multi-disciplinary team;
• You have excellent OO programming skills in C++ and or C#; knowledge of .NET, XML Style sheet transformations, C and network communication
• You speak and write well in English
• Willing to work in a dynamic and agile environment
• Strong collaboration and team work
• Positive attitude, can-do mentality, a sense of pragmatism and flexibility
• Willing to learn about new technologies
