The Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (Section of Forensic Psychiatry and Experimental Psychopathology) is offering with immediate effect a
SCIENTIST / POSTDOCTORAL POSITION (M/F/X)
in full time (40,10 hours / week), for two years with a possibility for extension
Primary duties
A postdoctoral position with focus on neuroimaging is available. The Section of Forensic Psychiatry and Experimental Psychopathology uses magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), meta-analytic models, and non- invasive brain stimulation for experimental characterization and manipulation of psychopathological symptoms of particularly forensically relevant psychiatric disorders. Main duties will be the development of neuroimaging-based biomarkers for diagnosis and prognosis as well as writing manuscripts for publication in scientific outlets.
We seek
- Candidate with a degree in psychology, medicine, neuroscience, computer science, bioinformatics, biomedical engineering, physics, or related areas
- Experience with analysis of structural and functional MRI data
- Good English communication and writing skills
- PhD degree is expected
- Programming skills (Python, R, or Matlab) are desired
- Interest in contact with psychiatric patients
- Experience with machine learning is a plus
