Job Summary

The School of Psychology and Undergraduate Program in Neuroscience in the College of Sciences invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track Academic Professional faculty position, which is a Teaching Faculty and Academic Advisor position, beginning July 1 st 2022 (earlier start possible). The successful candidate will join a vibrant group of faculty with interests in brain, cognition, behavior and (neuro)technology as well as innovative pedagogy and research in those fields.

The Academic Professional faculty member will be primarily responsible for teaching courses in the undergraduate neuroscience curriculum. Additional duties include academic advising, course development, and program assessment. The position provides opportunities for program and professional development, as well as for promotion through the non-tenured faculty track. Preference will be given to applicants who are well prepared to teach neuroscience and who have strong background in quantitative and computational methods. The applicant must have a PhD in neuroscience, psychology or a related discipline and experience with teaching undergraduate neuroscience and/or psychology-related coursework. Required Qualifications

PhD in neuroscience, psychology or a related discipline and experience with teaching undergraduate neuroscience and/or psychology-related coursework are required.
