Ph.D. Opportunity in Hong Kong – Computational Neuroscience and Brain-Inspired Machine Learning
The principal investigator (PI) is forming a new laboratory for computational neuroscience in the Department of Neuroscience at the City University of Hong Kong (CityU). His research interest includes
- computational modeling for neural phenomena, and;
- brain-inspired machine learning algorithms.
He is looking for a Ph.D. student with a relevant background. Ideal candidates should have appropriate knowledge in Neuroscience and proper quantitative skills for mathematical modeling. However, candidates having experience in either Neuroscience or quantitative science and interested in Computational Neuroscience are also welcome.
