You can make a difference:

• As an in-house IT application consultant (d/f/m) you will design the system landscape of warehouse processes and shipping logistics by configuring according to standard SAP templates and specifying for customer-specific programming.
• You support Heraeus in making the right decision when evaluating about the selection of appropriate logistics modules (decentralized EWM, embedded EWM, Stock Room Management, IM) and ensure their scalability and sustainability especially focusing on SAP EWM
• You maintain, update, and support the Heraeus enterprise software and will play a major role in the migration to SAP S/4HANA (decentral EWM 9.5 to embedded EWM on S/4).
• You are versatile enough to not only resolve incidents or defects, but can customize and debug to contribute well for EWM in your new team and across other Heraeus IT teams (interfaces to PLTP, QM, EHS, OTC and SAP basis and architecture).
• You will independently configure, advise, and implement SAP projects and work on migration topics together with key users from the business and other project members.
• Independently you consult in SAP projects and take on the role as deploy lead/project manager in rollouts and change projects from initiation to hypercare.
• With excellent communication skills you can make a difference in bridging functional requirements to technical solutions with our various global customers in the supply chain.

What is required for this role:

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, business administration or comparable professional training with several years of experience as an EWM consultant.
• Strong experience with the SAP module EWM (preferably including MFS know-how), preferably also knowledge in IM and WM, optional insides in HUM, LE-TRA and SD or SAP Fiori
• Several years of professional experience as IT consultant in an industrial environment and knowledge in configuration, consulting, debugging and on-site implementation of SAP projects
• Distinct analytical skills and problem solution competence as well as conceptual and entrepreneurial thinking would be appreciated
• Structured, self-contained and committed working habit and ability to work in a team
• Fluent communication skills in English, preferably also fluent in German
