Field Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Field Engineer to join our team in Austin, TX who is excited to be a critical part of expanding our Austin facilities. This position requires a highly organized mindset, a passion for driving multi-disciplinary projects, and an ability to perform at a high level on a consistent basis in a start-up environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage construction trades in the field daily, draft field reports, drive critical path, and make on-site decisions to expedite projects
• Conduct site progress meetings and safety inspections daily
• Interface and collaborate with engineers from multiple disciplines
• Interface with the Neuralink design team to create buildable construction plans
• Coordinate between trades and project engineers

Qualifications:

• Evidence of exceptional ability
• Experience managing multiple trades during construction
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of surveying
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Working knowledge of industry software such as Microsoft products
• Strong desire to be a part of a world-class team focused on achieving amazing results
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
