We are looking for an experienced Field Engineer to join our team in Austin, TX who is excited to be a critical part of expanding our Austin facilities. This position requires a highly organized mindset, a passion for driving multi-disciplinary projects, and an ability to perform at a high level on a consistent basis in a start-up environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage construction trades in the field daily, draft field reports, drive critical path, and make on-site decisions to expedite projects
- Conduct site progress meetings and safety inspections daily
- Interface and collaborate with engineers from multiple disciplines
- Interface with the Neuralink design team to create buildable construction plans
- Coordinate between trades and project engineers
Qualifications:
- Evidence of exceptional ability
- Experience managing multiple trades during construction
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of surveying
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Working knowledge of industry software such as Microsoft products
- Strong desire to be a part of a world-class team focused on achieving amazing results
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
