Heraeus AMLOY is a specialist for Amorphous Metals, we focus on medical technology and try to support with our solutions where conventional materials reach their limits. 
In our business we are combining the unique properties of Amorphous Metals with our technological know-how to enable completely new high-tech applications.
We are now looking for a Senior Operations Manager (m/f/d) to further scale-up the production with your manpower!

Following challenges await you: 

• As Senior Operations Manager (m/f/d) you are leading the Operations team (11 employees) and carry the responsibility for Heraeus AMLOY Technologies Operations.
• You are responsible for planning the global operations budget for Heraeus AMLOY. 
• With your strategic view you derive a production strategy from the overall business strategy in line with other functions and under involvement of other department needs.
• It is your overall goal to develop excellence in operation with a high focus on productivity, transparency and bottleneck elimination.
• In addition you ensure that strategic CAPEX projects are planned and carried out according to the Heraeus AMLOY business strategy.
• With the development of key KPIs for the manufacturing organization you keep your eye on the status quo and take appropriate measures.
• Last but not least you are the driver of Lean transformation, paying attention to the sustainability of the Lean Initiative; striving to stay current with the latest developments in the field of Lean production.

Your Profile:

• Master’s degree in process/production engineering with relevant experience
• Proven professional experience in manufacturing field or in a comparable role
• Initial leadership experience 
• Experience with methodologies for operational excellence experience/advisory competence
• Hands-on experience with operational excellence methodologies such as six sigma, lean, Kanban and KATA coaching
• Experience in preparing and carrying out strategies into operating plans and participating in the development of company business plans, action plans etc.
• Entrepreneur mentality with the ability to deal with fast-changing priorities
