Hardware Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Design and development of test platforms for qualification of Cumulus Neuroscience hardware products
  • Research and development of sensing technologies for capture of small amplitude signals from the brain
  • Working with manufacturing partners to ensure successful transfer of products from design into production
  • Creating and maintaining product design documentation
  • Management of hardware regulatory test strategy, i.e. Safety testing, EMC etc.

 

Essential Criteria

  • Experience with PCB design, schematic capture, board bring up and debugging
  • Experience with small amplitude signal acquisition and low noise electronics
  • Experience with electronics verification planning and/or execution
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

 

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience with embedded firmware development
  • Experience of biosensing technologies and integration with RF technologies
  • An understanding of regulatory compliance (CE marking, EMC, Safety)
  • Experience of working within a quality management system (ISO 13485 / ISO 9001)

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Third level qualification in Electronics Engineering or related discipline
  • 2+ years of electronics development experience
