As the Robot Operations Lead on the Robotics Team, you’ll be critical in working to support our surgical robot team. You will be involved in organizing and scheduling robot testing, and making sure our lab is set up, organized, and supplied such that robot testing can move forward efficiently. This is a job with a lot of moving pieces where you’ll be able to get involved with many aspects of the robot team’s work, and directly affect our overall efficiency as a team. No engineering, robotics, or neuroscience experience is required to apply.

 

Key qualifications: 

  • Extreme attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • Excel/Google sheets proficiency
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic constantly changing environment
  • Ability to see process and scheduling inefficiencies and fix them

 

Preferred qualifications (we’ll teach you!):

  • Experience building things with your hands
  • Familiarity with tools, fasteners, and other basic shop concepts
  • Experience scheduling events with many involved parties and many moving pieces

 

Examples of concrete duties:

  • Coordinating robot testing (scheduling people and robots, making sure supplies for the test are available and ready, taking notes and helping where possible)
  • Making sure the lab prototyping area is stocked with standard chemicals, fasteners, tools
  • Organizing and coordinating lab cleanups, lab improvements, etc
