The Role
We are looking for a Vice President of Data Analytics to build and empower a team that will evangelize analytics across the company and uplevel our decision-making capabilities to continue developing gamified innovative, clinically-validated prescription digital therapeutic treatments that challenge the status quo of medicine.
This newly created position will report to the Chief Financial Officer but work very closely and collaboratively with executive business leaders and key decision-makers across the organization.
This role provides the opportunity to work remotely in the U.S. or from one of our offices located in Boston, MA and Larkspur, CA.
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop and implement a data analytics strategy and roadmap in partnership with broader commercial, data science, engineering, and product teams
- Use data to craft compelling stories and visualizations that equip decision-makers to effectively execute on business and product strategy with every possible insight at their fingertips
- Foster a company-wide data-driven culture that insists on the highest standards for quality and integrity of data
- Manage, develop, and grow a world-class analytics team of motivated and curious individuals
Ideal Candidate
- You are naturally curious and tenacious; energized for opportunities to challenge the status quo and deliver game-changing solutions
- You are proficient across multiple data disciplines, including (but not limited to): product and marketing analytics and attribution modeling
- You are a skilled communicator with the ability to craft compelling stories with data that reveals context and caveats for technical and non-technical audiences
- You bring a first-principles approach to solving unprecedented and complex problems and are capable of making inferences and conclusions from incomplete data sets
Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive experience in data strategy and/or analytics roles in consumer-focused companies and/or industries
- 5+ years of experience building and leading high performing data analytics teams
- Prior experience planning and implementing new approaches and tools for reporting, projections, benchmarking, measurement, optimization, and attribution
- Familiarity with modeling and analysis tools (SQL, MS Excel, SAS, etc.), marketing/tracking technologies, sales enablement platforms (Salesforce CRM, Veeva, etc.) and visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.)
- Prior experience in a regulated environment/industry is helpful but not required
