Purpose of Job

In this function, you will be significantly involved in the development and further development of innovative products and make a valuable and meaningful contribution to improving the quality of life of our users. You will be responsible for implementing complex work packages along the development process – from conception and design to production readiness. As a professional leader within the cross-site project teams, you will also ensure the implementation of the project goals in compliance with time, resource and quality specifications.

Tasks

• Development of complex components and systems according to specified specifications, taking into account manufacturing requirements, design and serviceability
• Development and support of component and system tests as well as their implementation; Error analysis and troubleshooting of components and systems
• Transfer and support of technical solutions up to series production
• Derivation of design requirements and creation of standard-compliant documentation
• Coaching of colleagues and project teams on technical issues; Organization of specialist topics, platforms or tools

Profile

• Successfully completed technical or engineering studies (e.B. mechanical engineering, precision engineering, etc.)
• Many years of professional experience in the development of mechanical components and systems
• Extensive experience in material- and production-oriented design with the help of 3D CAD tools, finite element method and product lifecycle management methods
• Independent and result-oriented work, team orientation and enjoyment of taking on responsibility
• Very good communication skills in German and English
