Duties & Responsibilities

  • Reliability of Services: you guarantee good operability and resilience of the platform by continuously improving the reliability and monitoring of our systems
  • Security: you ensure cyber security. As a medical company, security and data protection are primary concerns. Take the necessary steps to ensure we’re always operating at a high level of security; managing productivity of the team
  • Continuous Improvement: you continuously aim for improvement to bring yourself and the company forward. You’re expected to learn with us, from us and teach us. You’ll ask, make experiments and fail with courage. If things go to shred – don’t worry we have you covered
  • Bring your Strengths: show us what you are good at and help us to use your strengths and skills to build a stronger team. You’ll do so by taking ownership of our platform and take an active part planning and building the platform

 

Profile

  • Degree in computer science. Alternatively proven track record in the field
  • 2+ years experience working as a SRE or in DevOps fashio (either as software engineer close to infrastructure, or as operations engineer close to software developers)
  • You believe that great things are achieved by a team rather than by an individual
  • Experience with CI Pipelines, Kubernetes, Cloud and general Linux OS
  • Ability to understand and modify code written in Java
  • Experience with software engineering practices such as TDD, Continuous Delivery and Kanban
  • Very good communications skills in English 
  • You’re not afraid to apply even if you do not tick all the boxes

 

Our Tech Environment: 

This is just for your understanding of the tools we use. We do not expect you to know and understand all of them 

Frontend: Vue.js and Typescript
Backend: Java/Spring Boot/JPA and Typescript (although moving to Java). ElasticSearch, MariaDB
ERP: S/4 HANA
Operations: Azure Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm

Our ambition is to build a robust, resilient and sustainable platform for the years to come. To achieve that, we utilize test driven development, continuous delivery and trunk-based development (although Git is our VCS). In addition, we take active steps to keep our tech clean and remove deprecated parts from our systems. We use Kanban as agile methodology.
