How you will contribute:

  • Work with Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, and CI systems
  • Use cloud services and open source software to deliver value
  • Improve the developer experience
  • Work with security teams and developers to build security solutions
  • Design and implement release, rollback, and disaster recovery automation
  • Continuously improve build and test automation
  • Define production-ready best practices, working with software leaders to create training materials
  • Demonstrate a mix of intelligence, integrity, domain knowledge, verbal agility, and diplomacy
  • Build and release reliable, stable products across several platforms and initiatives
  • Be eager to share different perspectives with your teammates to devise the best solutions
  • Document and develop processes to support systems across the organization

 

Our tech stack:

  • Languages: Python, SQL
  • Tools: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow, Terraform, Snowflake, Postgres, Kafka, DBT, Fivetran, Datadog 

 

Skills you’ll bring:

  • Infrastructure as code, build automation, and release engineering expertise
  • Test automation expertise
  • Develop tools and documentation for development and support teams
  • Previous on-call experience

 

About you:

  • Strong capabilities in designing, implementing, deploying, and maintaining reliable systems and processes
  • Adept management of configuration and security across multiple environments
  • Able to manage and build core tools, services and infrastructure
  • Quickly make low-level decisions while being patient and methodical with high-level ones
  • Curious, love to learn and to dig into new technologies, and can pick them up quickly
  • Demonstrate strong technical architecture and platform engineering skills along with the ability to switch between technologies
  • Strong desire to dissect existing systems to find better solutions with an eye toward maturing methods and best practices.

 

Bonus Points:

  • Background in transforming applications into microservices
  • Experience with healthcare or other high-security environments
    • HIPAA, SOC, or HITRUST compliance
