Ceribell Inc. is a rapidly growing venture capital backed medical technology startup based in Mountain View, CA. Ceribell deploys a cloud-linked, portable electroencephalogram (EEG) device to assess brain waves in minutes to identify the occurrence of seizures in emergency rooms and intensive care units. The Ceribell system is comprised of a brain stethoscope that converts brain waves into sound, enabling nurses and doctors to quickly diagnose seizures in order to more quickly administer live saving therapies. Ceribell received the first ever FDA 510(k) clearance for a digital seizure detection algorithm, and is growing its customer base and revenue rapidly. Job summary:

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented software engineer who is passionate about biomedical applications and has a strong background in full stack SaaS development with an emphasis on back end architecture and implementation. The successful candidate will join the development team and will be responsible for working on design and refinement of our EEG Portal – a first of its kind site that allows real time review of EEGs from anywhere.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent disciplines, M.S. preferred
• 5+ years of experience in web development
• Proficient in Javascript and/or Typescript, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, and SQL for
  back end development
• Experience developing and deploying containerized web applications on cloud
  infrastructure (AWS, GCP)
• Some front end development and user interface implementation experience
  preferred
• Strong project management skills, detail-oriented, and collaborative
