The Research Clinical Specialist works remotely, preferably located in the Northwest region, and reports into the Vice President of Clinical Affairs. This role will support the company’s clinical research programs. Major responsibilities include providing technical and clinical expertise to support Nalu devices and procedures, training investigators and patients, and tracking device and user data.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing technical support for Nalu products, including support during procedures and programming as part of clinical studies
- Provide clinical expertise regarding Nalu products and procedures
- Support and train users and patients on the proper use and operation of Nalu products
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with research staff
- Support the development of educational/training materials
- Provide feedback on site and device performance
- Maintain appropriate records and generate related reports
- Assist in collection of device and study related data
- Support tracking of department timelines and budgets
- Participate in company meetings as required
- Support meetings with research and clinic staff
- Assist in development of departmental SOPs, various report and training programs
- Support investigator and patient recruitment and retention activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific or clinical discipline, or equivalent experience within a scientific/medical field (medical technician, nursing, pharmacy, physician assistant)
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience, preferably in the neuromodulation industry
- Ability to work in patient care environments, including in surgery and invasive procedure settings
- Experience programming implantable devices preferred
- Working knowledge of FDA regulations related to human research and ISO 14155:2020
- Ability to travel approximately 75%
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and meet timelines in a dynamic workplace environment
