Position Summary:
As a legal extern reporting to the General Counsel, you will work on legal review of social media posts, decks and presentations, contracts, minutes, compliance matters, and a variety of legal projects from July to August 2022.
Key Responsibilities:
- Through this fall externship, the individual will develop an understanding of how an in-house legal department operates on a daily basis
- This position will be full-time, with the individual expected to work <40 hours a week
- Analyze, review, and upload various legal contracts
- Research substantive legal issues relevant to a technology company regulated by FDA
- Assist on a variety of special projects as needed
- Collaborate with different attorneys and colleagues as projects become available
Required Qualifications:
- Law student currently enrolled at an ABA-accredited law school
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Interest in and desire to learn more about the intersection of healthcare and technology
- Basic computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
