The Business Development Group Manager is essentially a “chief of staff” who will report to and work closely with the Vice President of BioPharma Business Development, supporting the day-to-day functionality of the BioPharma Business Development team. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support initiatives to drive business performance
    1. Support integration and utilization of the Business Performance system
    2. Streamline and optimize sales process including any necessary sales automation tools, capabilities and/or resulting data
    3. Develop dashboards & reports to track sales & account management related performance metrics
    4. Develop framework and reporting for conducting account reviews to Senior Executives
  • Support Day-to-Day Operations of the Business Development Team
    1. Works closely with VP, Business Development to develop and maintain the operational infrastructure supporting sales recruiting, goal setting, training/ onboarding, and other related processes.
    2. Creation of training and professional development tools to continuously enhance the knowledge base of the Business Development team
    3. Partner with Business Development team to provide data if/when needed and in alignment with team goals
    4. Supports the creation of solutions to unstick the selling process
    5. Responsible for the daily support of the Business Development team to minimize administrative work
