Do you have a passion for managing the end-to-end vendor outsourcing and contracting process as well as service provider performance?

As Senior Manager for the clinical outsourcing team, you’ll work closely with clinical operations, legal, finance, quality, and other functional departments to lead and drive the vendor selection process and contract negotiations to finalization. You will apply your existing technical skills, learn new skills, and play a key strategic role in maintaining vendor relationships and performance. 

This position can be Home Based (remote)

During the first year, your goals will include:

• Lead the vendor identification and selection activities from RFI/RFP to conducting bid defenses and bid analyses to vendor award.
• Review, negotiate, and finalize contracts, including MSA, SUWO, SOW, and Change Orders with CROs, central labs, IXRS, imaging, and other service providers.
• Maintain the study vendor contract files for proper vendor selection and performance monitoring documentation.
• Manage the PO process and amend as needed to ensure timely and accurate payments to clinical vendors.
• Hands-on support to resolve vendor invoice payment inquiries and issues.
• Manage service provider performance through KPIs/metrics, governance meetings, and regular check ins with the internal team/service provider.
• Drive vendor issues across studies/portfolio to resolution.
• Prepare vendor outsourcing and contracting status updates for weekly Clinical Operations study team meetings.
• Work with Finance for budget and forecasting purposes.
• Engage with Legal to ensure vendor contracts are reviewed, approved and returned in a timely manner.
• Work with QA on vendor qualification and selection.
• Work with Clinical Operations to ensure vendor contracts adequately address all business requirements.
• Assist with Clinical Outsourcing process improvement initiatives.
• Other related activities as assigned.

• You are proficient in detailed CRO, central lab, IXRS, imaging budget and contract reviews and analyses
• You have experience in leading projects to a successful completion
