Job Description

  • Point of contact for Mindmaze & Msquare order fulfillment, tech support requests and escalations through emails, phone, Jira, Zendesk
  • Monitor and administer internal IT support; Installation and/or configuration of various office software products
  • Mobile device management (MDM)
  • Establish and ensure Service level agreements (SLAs) are met and exceeded
  • Identify potential SLA misses and escalate them according to the defined procedure
  • Analyze recurring issues and suggest corrective action 
  • Windows installation PC spec’ing, assembly, and configuration (selection and sourcing of motherboard, CPU, GPU, etc; assembling them into a PC; awareness of and ability to navigate BIOS)
  • Windows & basic software configuration, and basic administration (drive partitioning and formatting.
  • Light duty network administration (configuration of NAT boxes, routers, wireless access points, networked computers and peripherals, etc)

 

Role orientation is:

  • 50% Customer-Facing IT Support
  • 30% Product Development (designing and implementing IT aspects of our products)
  • 20% Internal IT support 

 

Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience Windows administration
  • 1+ years experience Network Administration experience
  • 1+ years experience PC Spec’ing
  • PowerShell scripting
  • DOS shell scripting
  • Strong competence with any configuration management tool (puppet, ansible, etc)
  • Competence with Windows automated deployment administration (ADK, DISM, etc)
  • Additional duties as required

 

Additional Information

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Patience and communication skills to deal respectfully with customers of varying levels of technical competence
  • A willingness to grow professionally in a startup setting and embrace unconventional and highly agile development methodologies
  • Competence with Linux as user and/or administrator or ability to acquire competence
  • Competence with shell scripting on various platforms (sh, bash, DOS, Powershell, etc) or ability to acquire competence
  • Linux Experience
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM)
