Job Description

• Build CI/CD functionality for cloud backend
• Build cloud-based backend functionality
• Assist in the development of desktop applications
• Assist in the development of desktop deployment automation
• Diagnose and fix software bugs.
• Mentor junior teammates and drive continuous improvements in software engineering and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years professional software development experience
• 2+ years AWS development using IAM, S3, EC2 and/or Lambda, API Gateway
• 2+ years Node.js programming in Typescript and/or Javascript
• 1+ years professional experience programming in C++
• Working familiarity with git
• Experience programming in both Windows and Linux environments
• Experience developing software services and an understanding of design for scalability, performance and reliability
• Excellent verbal communication skills, written communication skills and accountability
• Proven ability to work in a fast paced start-up business environment, agile environment and in an ownership and results-oriented culture

Additional Information

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Competence with shell scripting on various platforms (sh, bash, DOS, Powershell, etc)
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
