Healthcare Solution Delivery Consultant – Boston Scientific
Healthcare providers around the world are facing significant challenges within increasing pressure to improve quality of care and increase accessibility while optimising costs and care delivery. As a result our customers are looking for partners to help them address their clinical, operational, and financial challenges without increasing their financial pressures. To meet their needs Boston Scientific developed the Healthcare Solutions & Partnership team to support customers development of improvement strategies and more importantly to deliver these solutions in partnership with them to drive long-term profitable partnerships.
To support significant team growth, we are looking for a Solution Delivery Consultant based in the UK who will drive the successful implementation cutting edge solutions to fulfil our key customer’s needs. The role will be supported by a broad portfolio of targeted solutions and software platforms that have been developed by Boston Scientific to address the complex needs for healthcare providers across the EMEA region

Healthcare Solutions & Partnerships
The purpose of the Healthcare Solutions & Partnerships team is to help establish Boston Scientific as a leading healthcare Solutions provider. This is achieved by engaging in long-term partnerships with customers, going beyond the provision of products by supporting them with services and solutions which are differentiated and tailored to their needs.
About the role
The purpose of this role is to lead the delivery of our suite of solutions to our key customers. Projects will involve analysing the performance departments, clinics and care networks and participating in the development and delivery of resulting projects to improve patient access, increase throughput and reduce overall cost, while improving patients and staff satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- In collaboration with other Boston Scientific account team members, support the engagement of key customer stakeholders, to establish issues and opportunities and form the bespoke improvement strategy aligned with commercial opportunities.
- Responsible for the delivery of the agreed solution offering liaising with a Solution Architect who is accountable for the project contract.
- Establish a project charter and plan for each engagement component with clearly documented and agreed upon goals & objectives.
- Track and report on key metrics to key stakeholders, aligned with overall goals and objectives, ensuring that metrics are accurately tracked for the customer.
- Bring domain expertise, such as process re-engineering, analytics, change management and digital/software platform implementation to the delivery of outcome-driven projects.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Solutions Delivery Team to define, plan and trial the development of new solutions for customers, leading to full roll-out.
- Work with Cluster Solutions Delivery Leader to refine delivery methodologies, optimise outputs and share learnings and best practices.
What are we looking for in you?
- Proven experience in consulting activities, preferably in a healthcare setting with a minimum of 5 years leading healthcare improvement projects.
- Experience in the implementation or application of digital / software platforms within hospital / clinical settings.
- Experience in supporting patient, clinical and other hospital teams to adapt to new ways of working including digital systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of lean and process optimisation methodologies as well as strong analytical base skills to be able to resolve complex issues in creative ways.
- Strong communicator internally and externally able to articulate clearly to a varied group of stakeholders, up to c-suite level, both verbally and through well compiled slides / dashboards.
- Self-starter, able to lead projects with minimal senior input.
- Builds networks and partners collaboratively with peers.
- Creative thinker, comfortable in challenging existing practices and the status quo.
- Change oriented, able to operate in an area of uncertainty and with changing / limited resources.
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree, or MSc (preferred), in a relevant subject.
- Excellent level of written and spoken English.
