About the role:
- As a key member of New Product Dev PMO group, you’ll manage multiple concurrent projects, drive cross functional team efforts in defining objectives, scope, schedule, budget, workstreams deliverables, and help in portfolio delivery in alignment with the long-term BU strategy.

Responsibilities:
- Lead cross functional, multi-dimensional product development teams from concept through Launch; through proper execution of design controls that includes an efficient transfer of new developed product from Global R&D to manufacturing and global marketing through the BSC defined PDLC processes to achieve project closure.
- Manage projects that require mechanical, electrical, firmware, software (i.e. IPG, ETS, RF Devices, Leads, and capital devices) and knowledge of the quality systems policies/guidance’s (i.e. CFR 820.30, 13485, 62304 etc.), support medical device development and digital ecosystem.
- Work closely with various disciplines within R&D and Marketing, Clinical, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and establishes project plans and objectives.
- Ensure that teams are equipped and prepared as per the appropriate phase requirements to present at key business and design review meetings; that all appropriate stakeholders within BU are apprised of review meetings and the results thereof.
- Track project progress, manage budgets, provide transparent communication and interfaces with all areas affected by the program/project including cross-functional stakeholders, business sponsors and senior management.
- Conduct retrospectives, lessons-learned, and implement process improvement initiatives to drive future success.

Required Skills / Capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute projects to successful completion in medical devices industry.
- Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, JIRA etc.) and clear understanding of project management methodology is required. Fluency in creating work break down structures and managing project plans
- Working knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, familiar with firmware or software integration with systems integration, and digital applications
- Strong verbal and written communication, proven ability to influence others, cross-functional team interaction and driving on-time results.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience with medical device product development: market requirement definition, design, analysis, testing, regulatory submissions, clinical evaluation and launch.
- 2 years of experience with managing enterprise or cloud SW projects.
- PMP, CSM, SAFe Scrum master or industry equivalent certification.
Education and Experience
- Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience in the medical or regulated industries preferred
